Who is Murat Tarman?

Born in 1973 in Istanbul, he is the oldest son of Nurhan – İsmail TARMAN.

After finishing his primary, middle and high school in Istanbul. He went to the USA to study finance and business administration from 1993 to 1997, he completed his MBA from 1997 to 1999 and returned back to his home country Turkey to do his army service in Malatya for eight months.

He started his business career within the TARMAN Group doing a variety of jobs in different departments. These consist of companies in Real Estate Investment Trust (REİT), Textile, Cement, Construction and Electrical Household Appliances, Shipping and Tourism.

Today he is the C.E.O. of TARMAN GROUP

He is member of TÜSİAD, (Turkish Industry & Businessmen Association), İPA (İnternational Police Association), Istanbul Golf Club and Büyük Kulüp (Cercle d’Orient).

Married and father of 2 girls, Murat plays Golf, horse riding and tennis and also loves the adrenaline of sports such as snowboarding and wakeboarding and other adventerous activities. Besides his sporty character he is highly interested in Turkish painters and classical cars…
